She has worked as a journalist in London on a variety of financial titles for publishers including the Financial Times, specialising in wealth management and qualifying as a financial adviser. But despite the excitement of covering the financial crisis, nothing can top the adrenaline of Monica’s early days as a journalist – on her first TV news assignment, she had to hang out of a helicopter with a camera to get the shots needed for a story. Beyond finance (and helicopter rides), Monica is fascinated by politics, having lived in Washington DC and earned a master’s degree in politics from Georgetown University.
